Sr. Pastor / Calvary Chapel Apache Junction

Pastor Chris Funk attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in California, where the Lord called him into ministry. He and his wife Naomi, have been married 25 years this November and are blessed with four wonderful children.

God captured Chris's heart in 1999 during his senior year of high school through the teaching of His Word, and it has been his passion ever since to equip the saints for the work of the ministry

Sr. Pastor / Calvary North Church

Pastor Jesse graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in 1993 and has been doing ministry & missions at Calvary North since then.  He is married to Michele & has 3 kids.

In 2010 he took over as Sr. Pastor at Calvary North Church and has continued to pastor the church to this day.

He is also one of the Calvary Chapel Association area reps for Phoenix.

Sr. Pastor/ Calvary Chapel Desert Light (Bullhead City)

Pastor Mike grew up in a Christian home outside the Calvary Chapel  family.  He and his wife, Melissa, met in church and were married in 1995 before being sent out as a church plant several years later.  After seven years of pastoral ministry in Charlotte, NC and Sacramento, CA, they came back to Bullhead City and eventually ended up at Calvary Chapel.

He was ordained by founding pastor Chuck Kelly and brought on staff in 2010 as an assistant pastor. In 2023, Chuck retired and Mike assumed the senior pastor role.

Founding Pastor of Calvary North Church/ Mission Assist Ministry

Pastor Bob Claycamp founded Calvary North Church in 1981. Him and his wife, Jeanne, served the church up until a transition was made November 2010 and his son, Jesse Claycamp, took over.

Pastor Bob and Jeanne now spend their time ministering to Calvary Chapel churches all over America & Europe in various ways.

Former pastor of Calvario & Sr. Pastor of Westside Bible Church

As a graduate of Grand Canyon University and currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Phoenix Seminary, Greg brings over 28 years of senior pastoral experience.

Born in El Salvador and raised in California and his homeland, Pastor Greg's bilingual fluency and cultural insights resonate deeply with the diverse congregation. He began the only fully Spanish speaking Calvary Chapel ministry in Phoenix called Calvario. Currently he is a communications teacher at Arizona Christian University, as well as the pastor of Westside Bible Church that meets on the school’s campus.
